I got my lips, lashes and brows done to feel prettier but it was a mega fail

A BEAUTY fan has revealed that she wanted to get pampered ahead of her graduation ceremony, so treated herself to lip filler, eyelash extensions and an eyebrow appointment.

But unfortunately for Marena Nicole, things didn't go quite to plan and not only was she left with burnt skin, but a bruised duck pout too.

Marena took to TikTok to show off the beauty process, as she posted a clip with the caption ‘If anyone was wondering why I haven't been posting… my face is healing."

In the clip, Marena documented her "before and after transformation."

She explained: "Doing high maintenance things to be low maintenance and it failing."

Ahead of her graduation, Marena explained that she got lip filler, eyelash extensions and her eyebrows done.

But to Marena's disappointment, her beauty appointments didn't go as she had hoped.

To start off her ‘transformation’, Marena first got lip filler.

Marena was left with lips that were "so swollen" - so much so that she compared her pout to that of a duck.

When it came to her eyelashes, the blonde-haired beauty asked for a "bold, spikey look, replicating the strip lashes" she normally wears.

Then Marena documented her eyebrow results, after booking in for a "signature sculpt appointment."

Marena shared a picture of her eyebrows, which were much darker than she had hoped.

She added: "She advised me to go home and scrub/rinse a few times and to try a clarifying shampoo to get the dye out."

She then continued: "RIP my lash extensions."

The next morning, Marena explained that she had done as instructed, but as a result she was left with burnt skin under her eyebrows.

Not only this, but she was reduced to tears, which caused her eyelash extensions to fall out.

She claimed: "I think the clarifying shampoo/scrubbing was too harsh on my freshly waxed eyebrows."

She then revealed: "Bonus points: my sister accidentally punched me in the mouth and my tooth cut my lip open."

Marena then shared an image of her "maintenance week final product", as she was left with burnt eyebrows, no eyelashes and bruised lips.

The social media user concluded: "It just kept getting progressively worse.

"It's like a sick joke.

"I cried so much my eyes were swollen at graduation, literally a joke at this point.

"I feel so cursed.

"It's all only temporary thankfully."

The beauty fan shared her clip just 12 hours ago, and it has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly gone viral and has amassed a whopping 1 million views.

It has 80.6k likes, 696 comments and 814 shares.

Social media users were left open-mouthed at Marena's beauty fails, with many taking to the comments to sympathise with her.

One person said: "Duuuuude. I have to straight up do EXTENSIVE research on places/people cuz I would have literally died if this happened to me."

To this, Marena confirmed: "SAME this is exactly how I am, I researched so hard!! That's another reason I’m so sad."

Another added: "Please tell me she refunded you for the brows…" to which Marena replied "She did!! She felt horrible."

A third commented: "Omg girl I’m so sorry this happened to you."

At the same time, someone else asked: "Wait but what happened to your lash extensions??" to which Marena claimed "I got them a few hours before the brows so when I cried they all fell off."
